Working hours policies
Delphi’s HR team creates working hours policies to support the function and culture of your business.
We draft legally binding working hours policies that your employees will respect. Your working hours policies will comply with British and EU working time laws around the maximum average working week and daily and weekly rest periods. They will make clear what you expect from employees, but be supportive in providing ways for staff to raise working hours requests and issues with you.
Delphi prepares you for flexible working requests when employees express a need to work from home. When you need, we draft policies that let workers condense their week, job share or change their start and finish times. Delphi helps you adjust contracts and pay, so they are in line with those changes.

Delphi also provides barrister-level legal support should a worker take too much advantage of your policies, or if your refusal of a working hours request is taken to an employment tribunal.
Holiday entitlement policies
Your Delphi holiday entitlement policies and documents will help staff request, book and calculate their annual leave.
They’ll keep you in line with employee rights to bank holidays, leave at Christmas and statutory holiday pay. They’ll be clear about holiday entitlements for staff who are on maternity, paternity, adoption or sick leave. They’ll spell out company rules on when employees can carry over holiday entitlement and how much pay an employee can expect in lieu of unused holiday.
Delphi can incorporate restrictions on leave during peak production periods, should you wish to include them in your holiday entitlement policies. It can also create policies that oblige your employees to take outstanding annual leave during notice periods.
